Product Description
Reticles always allow for the optimum contrast to the object and environment in all lighting conditions. Switchable illuminated reticles are standard in all aiming devices of the latest generation. In order to illuminate the structure, optical radiation is injected into the substrate from the side and this hits the illuminated structure via total reflection. We offered to our clients two technological solutions for this purpose.
Diffractive structure
Optical grating etched into the substrate.
Injected radiation reaches the eye due to diffraction on the optical grating.
The technology selected is determined largely by the intended application. Diffractive reticles are characterised by a high light yield and can therefore be used in even very bright environments.
